The inner-finned tube is a kind of new heat transfer component. It is especially suitable for all kinds of coolers inside which the working medium is gas. The heat transfer efficiency is about 2 times of light tube. It has very compact structure and outstanding performance.

This type of cooler is typically applied in the intercooler of built-in air turbine compressor so that the whole compressor has compact structure, low resistance, low noise and high efficiency.

In normal cases, the reciprocating air compressor has higher pressure. Most of them is the medium and high pressure air. It has higher design requirements for enhanced heat transfer and structure strength of intercooler. After adopting the intercooler of enhanced heat transfer inner-finned tube, the volume of intercooler reduces about 50% than that of tubular intercooler. Its main advantage is high heat transfer efficiency, lower interstage resistance, compact structure and small floor area.
